Theme
Green development is a development concept that carefully considers social and environmental impacts of development. With a rapid urbanization in development counties during last decade, the importance of understanding the relationship between the changing environment and the quality of life within the city is being increasingly recognized. Key questions for development planning today in countries include: Can we take a balance between economic growth and environmental protection? Can green and low carbon growth be a way forward? The International Symposium of Green Development for Low-carbon City Design is invite the researchers, students and universities to exchange their academic ideas and enhance their knowledge for the topics like green city, low carbon development, sustainable development, green architecture design, planning approaches for sustainable development, sustainable public transport systems and so on.
Asian Institute of Low Carbon Design (AILCD) is non-profit academic-based organization made as a network of students, researchers, and universities especially in Asia to enhance their knowledge in their fields of study or works which is related to the environment.
We expect to deepen discussions among researchers from all over the world on the scheme of preservation of the green development and sustainability, as well as challenging a strategy of the green development in order to realize sustainable cities wherein we can continue to live within our sustainable communities.
